Mission - Johnson County Public Safety Toy & Food Drive

The Johnson County Public Safety Toy and Food Drive is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2006. Each year, the organization hosts an annual collection and distribution event to provide toys and food to families in need throughout Johnson County.

The Johnson County Public Safety Toy and Food Drive is a collaborative effort of public safety agencies serving Johnson County, representing all disciplines of public safety, including law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical services.

The Board of Directors is comprised of current and retired public safety employees representing participating agencies. The annual collection and distribution events are made possible through the dedicated efforts of volunteers from these agencies, who generously give their time and resources to support the mission of the organization.

Through this collaborative effort, Johnson County public safety professionals come together to serve their community and help make the holiday season brighter for local families in need.
